Outstanding tech support

Really, really like this app, but LOVE the support you receive for the app itself. I had a technical question and emailed support through the app. I was shocked when I received an answer with minutes of my sending. They were able to answer my questions and resolve the issue. ( so unlike my other apps)

Disappointed, not as customizable as claims

Seems this app was built on some specific type of therapy for some unknown program and is not as customizable as it claims. Its predominate purpose is for tracking with a therapist or counselor, the green lights apply to its specific program and not to any general recovery metrics. You cant get rid of many of the embedded descriptions/definitions - like triggers. One thing particular that is very individual specific and though you can add, you cant delete the default items. It gets cluttered and messy fast. You can build an "addiction" (Or choose one of plethora included) from scratch, but if you want to make changes, then you have to rebuild the whole thing all over again, no edit/ delete functions. There are high level goals but dont track to any activities - so whats the purpose? Clearly its for the model counselor / accountability. The badges are annoying, relate to its specific program model, nothing you may necessarily be tracking in your program and no way to turn off or customize. It has a 12 step model you can select - and another of unknown origin and undefined - but it relates to little else in the app - all you can do is assign a step to a goal, which again in linked to nothing else in the program. Recovery is complex and individualized this tries to fit everyone into some model Ive never seen before. A waste of $$ and time. If you are in a 12 step program this will make no sense to you.

Nothing like this in the app store

This app is built around accountability and that can be someone you allow yourself to be accountable to - or a counselor or therapist. You decide. The green lights make sense. These are things I need to be doing every day just to get on foot in front of the other every day. I would never have though of them and my counselor thinks these are right on target! My yellow lights and red lights I customized them myself. I decided to redo my yellow/red lights after a bit and I thought it was easy enough to do. While I am working the 12 steps in recovery I am using the journal to capture where I am. You can share that with your counselor/or whomever using the app but I just don’t want to. It’s very private to me…and this leads me to my last point. There is security built into the app with a password. And since the data resides ONLY on my phone and not in a iCloud or anything I am not worried about privacy. And I like the badges. I like being reminded that I’ve been on track for a certain number of days. Plus I like adding the picture of my family there to remind me why I do this.

Must have for anyone in recovery!

Thanks for adding the privacy screen. Much appreciated!! Version 5 is awesome with the calendar that visually shows my good and bad habits (addiction)! Adding the ability to customize my yellow lights (warning habits) as well as my red lights (acting out/relapse) and custom triggers makes this complete! Kudos to developer for adding this. Accountability = best part! The app works without a sponsor but as far as getting better goes it works best with one or like me I use with my counselor. New custom motivation picture can be added- nice touch for me at least. Choose whatever you want to see..family, favorite anything. Makes looking at date of sobriety meaningful to me. This app combines so many elements and tools needed for a successful recovery into one easy to use app. From documenting and tracking, to notifying a sponsor its all there. Best of all you receive badges of encouragement to keep you going thought your journey. I would recommend this app for anyone in recovery or counseling groups as a great tool for accountability and tracking. Great app for recovery!!
